High Up - Gasometers/Bridges (Most recently added are first)
GasometersGasometer No.3, BathI've had my eye on this one for a while now, and tonight it was finally to be so. Ever since I climbed the cranes on the Riverside project opposite over a year and a half ago, I wanted to do this after seeing it from the top of them. It did not disappoint.
Gasometer No.2, Weston-Super-MareWeston is home to two Gasometers, neither of which are very high, but still needed to be done. There's nothing from these ones online (from the exploring community anyway) so thought it was about time something was done about this!

BridgesNewport Transporter Bridge, Newport, WalesThere are three transporter brides in the United Kingdom, and seeing as one of them is only a half an hour drive from me, it seemed crazy to think that, given my interest in them, I hadn't done any of them. Well, on a stormy night in October, that was to change. One of the UK 3 done, on to the next now!
Tees Transporter Bridge, MiddlesboroughThis was the final of the three transporter bridges in the UK for us. The second one in the space of a few days. This one is the tallest of them all, and it's safe to say that the bride is in very good condition.
COMING SOON Warrington Transporter Bridge, WarringtonThis bridge is pretty small compared to the other two, and it's by far in the worst condition. All of the wooden slats at the top feel like they're about to crack under foot, and it is rust central.
COMING SOON The Forth rail Bridge, EdinburghHaving wanted to do this beast for a long time, the feeling of satisfaction as we climbed out onto the top was second to none. W didn't have much luck with weather (cheers Scotland) but it was still worth the long drive.
